Adjustable mid-pipe – Porsche 911 2.7L (Type G) / 3.0L / 3.2L

This pipe links the right manifold/heat exchanger to the pre-muffler. Its flex section absorbs vibrations and heat expansion. This 100% stainless version has a slip joint: it can be fitted without first removing the left manifold/heat exchanger, and stress-free.

Worth knowing: the recess in its lower section is normal – it is needed to clear the clutch return spring.

Fitting

• Original interfaces: direct replacement, no modification
• Average fitting time: 1 hour including removal. With original hardware it often takes longer: it is not rare to have to cut the old pipe in 2 to get it out
• A lift is essential
• Respect the manufacturer’s torque: fit the 3 bolts on each side tightening progressively, then tighten the slip joint clamp
• Fitting kit included: gaskets, stainless bolts, nuts
