Standard Catalytic converters 300cc – Porsche 911 (997)

This version is fitted with standard 300-cell metallic catalytic converters: they replace the original converters while slightly improving gas flow, since the original has 2 x 400 cells on each side.

Fitting

• Strictly original interfaces (inlets, outlets, dimensions): direct replacement, no modification
• Mount under the car, between the manifolds and the rear mufflers. The converter straps are included.
• Before removal, unplug the 4 Lambda sensors at the connectors and remove them once the converters are off. Reusing them is not straightforward: be ready to replace them
• It is often necessary to cut the sleeves at the converter outlets with a grinder: plan original spare sleeves
• Average fitting time: 2 hours including removal
• A lift is essential; tighten all nuts progressively
• Fitting kit included: gaskets, stainless bolts, stainless lock nuts, high-temperature copper grease and the 2 small straps
