Exhaust valved – 997-2 3.6L equipped – Porsche 911 (997-2 PSE)

The cure for the near-silent 997 phase 2: this valve exhaust takes it from an almost voiceless car to one of the finest sounds of any Porsche in history. Its development took some twenty prototypes and is patent-protected. It replaces the rear centre muffler and connects to the mufflers in the wings. On this reference the valves are operated with a switch (fitting the original switch on the centre console panel is possible, contact us).

Sound

• Valves closed: a real presence that never becomes intrusive
• Valves open: a full, powerful sound
• Combined with our 200-cell sport catalytic converters: close to a race car

Unlike the original valve exhaust, our system has no cut-out between 45 and 75 km/h. All accessories are included (electrical and air harnesses).

Fitting

• Strictly original interfaces (inlets, outlets, dimensions): direct replacement of the original part
• Replaces the rear transverse muffler
• Fitting time: 8 hours including removal. Rear bumper removal required, lift essential
• Complex installation, to be entrusted to a Porsche specialist, ideally one of our partner workshops: the original valves must be removed and a supplied blanking plate welded on (stainless welding skills required)
