The 599 GTO is a truly special car packing a V12 punch that tops speeds of about 208mph!!! THE PREP

Every PPF installation begins with thorough preparation. The 599 GTO was first given a comprehensive decontamination wash using Gyeon’s range of high-quality detailing products, including pH-neutral shampoos and a snow foam pre-wash. This ensures that no dirt or debris remains on the surface, as even the smallest imperfection can affect the final result.

Once the vehicle was spotless, we moved it into our temperature-controlled PPF bay, where we could begin the fitting process in a dust-free environment.

THE FILM

To achieve a seamless and precise fit, we utilise XPEL’s state-of-the-art Design Access Program (DAP). This software allows us to pre-cut the PPF to exact specifications using a high-tech plotter. By doing so, we avoid the need to cut directly on the vehicle’s paintwork, eliminating any risk of damage.

The pre-cut templates are tailored specifically for the 599 GTO, ensuring full coverage while maintaining the car’s original design aesthetic.

THE INSTALL

Once the film is cut, our expert technicians carefully position each piece using a slip solution that allows for precise alignment before adhesion. This is where skill and experience come into play, as we make micro-adjustments to ensure perfect coverage.

On key areas such as the front bumper, bonnet, and side skirts—where the car is most susceptible to stone chips—the film provides an invisible yet highly effective layer of protection.

A SEAMLESS FIT

Wherever possible, we wrap the edges of the film around the body panels, reducing visible lines and creating a near-invisible finish.
