Exhaust valved 3.8L – for 997-2 equipped – Porsche 911 (997-2 PSE)

The cure for the near-silent 997 phase 2: this valve exhaust takes it from an almost voiceless car to one of the finest sounds of any Porsche in history. Its development took some twenty prototypes and is patent-protected. It replaces the rear centre muffler, connects to the mufflers in the wings, and is controlled with the original PSE switch in the centre console.

A cut-out removal kit must be added: it removes the factory valve closure between 45 and 75 km/h – open when you want, closed when you want.
