Exhaust valved – 3.8L – Porsche 911 (997)

The valve exhaust lets you switch from a soft sound to a very sporty one whenever you want, at the press of a switch. In quiet mode, the sound is slightly more present than stock; in open mode it becomes very sporty. Unlike the original valve exhaust, our system has no cut-out between 45 and 75 km/h. Combined with our 200-cell sport catalytic converters, the sound gets close to a race car. All accessories are included (electrical and air harnesses).

Fitting

• Strictly original interfaces (inlets, outlets, dimensions): direct replacement of the original part
• Mounts directly after the catalytic converters
• Fitting time: 8 hours including removal of the original exhaust (quicker if the old exhaust is in good condition). No need to remove the rear bumper
• A lift is essential
• Tighten all nuts progressively once the exhaust is fully in place; the sleeves to the catalytic converters must be torqued to exactly 46 Nm (over-tightening creates a leak that ruins the whole sound)
• Connecting sleeves not included: use the ones designed for the 996, which are sturdier
• Fitting kit included: stainless bolts, stainless lock nuts, high-temperature copper grease
