Sport Catalytic converter (100 cells) – Porsche 911 (964 Turbo)

This version is fitted with a 100-cell HJS sport metallic catalytic converter: it replaces the original converter with better flow and more sound, with a 12 hp gain on a stock 964 Turbo.

The original additional air intake has been deleted: its belt consumed horsepower for no benefit. For the record, Porsche designed this system to inject fresh outside air into the muffler and artificially lean out the exhaust gas mixture at the outlet.

Fitting

• Strictly original interfaces (inlets, outlets, dimensions): direct replacement, no modification
• Mounts directly between the turbo and the final muffler
• Average fitting time: 2 hours including removal
• A lift is essential
• Reusing the original Lambda sensor is not straightforward: be ready to replace it
• Tighten all nuts progressively
• Fitting kit included: gaskets, stainless bolts, stainless lock nuts, high-temperature copper grease
