Sport muffler valved, switch-controlled – Porsche 911 2.7L (Type G) / 3.0L / 3.2L

On Type G 911s, the muffler produces 80% of the sound level (the remaining 20% comes from the pre-muffler). This sport valve version delivers either a discreet sound or a very sporty one, depending on the valve position. The valve is switch-operated, or remote-controlled on version SCA 911 3 2 VT.

Fitting

• Strictly original interfaces (inlets, outlets, dimensions): direct replacement, no modification
• Mounts directly after the pre-muffler
• Average fitting time: 1 hour including removal of the original exhaust. A lift is preferable but not essential
• Removing the original is fairly easy; if the 3 inlet flange nuts are rusted, a grinder may be needed
• Respect the manufacturer’s torque, tightening all nuts progressively: under-tightened leaks, over-tightened leaks too
• Fitting kit and straps included: gaskets, stainless bolts, stainless lock nuts, high-temperature copper grease
