Muffler 2.8L RSR – 3 long tailpipes with caps – Porsche 911 Type F (1963-1973)

This three-outlet muffler has a dual sound: its design comes from the RSR muffler of the 70s racing era – the ancestor of today’s valve exhausts.

• Road position: both rear outlet plugs in place, left outlet free – a sporty but discreet sound (5/10)
• Competition position: both rear plugs removed, left outlet plugged – a racing sound

In this 2.8L RSR version, the rear outlets are long, spaced 25 cm apart. The straps are included.

Fitting

• Strictly original interfaces (inlets, outlets, dimensions): direct replacement, no modification
• Mounts under the car, directly on the manifolds; fitting is fairly easy
• Average fitting time: 1 hour including removal of the original exhaust (longer if the bolts are corroded). A lift is not essential but strongly preferable
• Tighten all nuts progressively
• Fitting kit included: gaskets, stainless bolts and nuts, high-temperature copper grease
