Cup 2 tailpipes System – sport sound – Porsche 911 (964)

This Cup system replaces, in a single unit, the rear transverse muffler, the final muffler in the right rear wing and the tailpipe. Over the long run it is the best solution: the Cup pipe + swan neck setup is too loud, and once either part needs replacing, a global solution is needed anyway. The 4 Cup system versions cover the whole spectrum, with one or two outlets.

Sound: sport version with twin outlets. Twin-outlet versions are louder than their single-outlet counterparts.

Fitting

• Mounts directly after the catalytic converter, original or our sport version (+17 hp)
• Twin outlets: the right rear bumper must be adapted to clear the second outlet
• Average fitting time: 2 hours including removal of the original exhaust (removal is fairly easy). Lift essential
• Tighten all nuts progressively to the manufacturer’s torque: an under-tightened exhaust leaks, and so does an over-tightened one
• Fitting kit included: gaskets, stainless bolts and lock nuts, high-temperature copper grease and the 2 Scart straps. Keep the olive gasket and its clamp at the converter outlet: brush them clean before refitting
