Pre-muffler 2 in 1 – sport sound (Riva type) – Porsche 911 2.7L (Type G) / 3.0L / 3.2L

The pre-muffler is the most technical part of the exhaust line on these cars. Our 5 pre-mufflers correct the original part’s flaws – essentially the pressure loss due to flow, which disturbs back-pressure – and let the engine release its full rated power through linear compression of the exhaust gases.

This Riva-type sport version has a sporty sound level, halfway between stock and racing. Fitted with the Riva muffler, it lets the muffler deliver its full sound capacity.

Fitting

• Strictly original interfaces (inlets, outlets, dimensions): direct replacement, no modification
• Mounts between the manifolds and the muffler
• Average fitting time: 1.5 hours including removal. A lift is preferable but not essential
• Removing the original can be tedious and require specific tools (a micro grinder to extract the inlet nuts). For easier removal, take off the left rear wheel and damper
• Tighten all nuts progressively; make sure the muffler is fully in place before final tightening
• Fitting kit included: gaskets, stainless bolts, stainless lock nuts, high-temperature copper grease
